Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Biology: Translating Computational Innovation into Clinical Practice.
The two-day Clinical Program connects computational advances with practical questions in patient care. It is designed for clinicians, physician-scientists, biomedical researchers and other health professionals interested in understanding, evaluating and responsibly applying medical AI.
Day 1 · August 12
Foundations and clinical translation
- AI foundations for clinicians
- Medical imaging and digital biomarkers
- Genomics, multi-omics and precision medicine
- Language models and generative AI in clinical practice
- Validation, interpretation and responsible adoption
Day 2 · August 13
Implementation and clinical practice
- Workflow integration and real-world deployment
- Personalized and preventive medicine
- Interactive, multidisciplinary case discussion
- Human–AI collaboration and clinical oversight
- Cross-disciplinary and trainee engagement
Learning objectives
Participants will explore how to evaluate the strengths and limitations of AI systems; interpret evidence from imaging, genomics and multimodal data; recognize issues in bias, generalizability, privacy and safety; and assess requirements for clinical implementation and monitoring.
